Reflexology
Reflexology is a therapy that involves applying pressure to certain known points on the hands and feet, which correspond to vital organs and functions. When these points are pressed they reveal where the problem lies in the relevant part of the body. Using specific pressure, those areas are then cleared to allow to body to return to its normal healthy state.

Whether you have a chronic or an acute health problem, or you are simply looking for a way to reduce tension and promote well being in your life, reflexology may be the answer to your problem. Reflexology is entirely non-invasive. It is a completely safe form of therapy, as well as being a relaxing experience.

Reflexology is one of the most ancient powerful healing techniques available. It dramatically improves your health and affects every part of your body.

Case Studies
David, aged 68
David was a 68 year-old retired post-office manager. He suffered from constipation and piles, as well as insomnia. His bowel movements were every 4-5 days, but he had to go to the toilet straight after the treatment. He also felt very tired, and said that he slept that night "like a baby" for 8 hours without waking up. He continued having treatments once a week for the next 5 weeks and noticed improvements in his health from week to week. On the week he had his last treatment, he had regular bowel movements and much better sleep than he had for years. I would just like to mention that he was also advised on improving his diet, most importantly including more fibre and taking up a light exercise.

Sarah, aged 29
Sarah was a 29-year old businesswoman who had been suffering from migraines and PMT for about 9 years. The migraines occurred 2-3 times a month and lasted between 1 and 4 days. She would be incapacitated for up to a week before her period suffering from migraines, abdominal pains, constipation or diarrhoea and sore breasts. At those times she would also be very irritable and emotional. She was often forced to take time off work, which made her even more frustrated because she had a very demanding job which she loved.

She came for a reflexology treatment during one of those bouts of migraine. After the first treatment she actually felt physically sick, but her migraine was much more bearable. Even though after that treatment she said that she wouldn't have any more, she called next morning and asked for another appointment. She said that she had the best sleep ever, that she felt much calmer in the morning, and that most importantly, the migraine was gone. She was also advised to look at her diet, to include more whole grains, vegetables and proteins of non-animal origin, and to take up some form of exercise.

When she came a week later, she said that her digestion had improved, and the period she got in meantime was much less painful. She cancelled her 3rd appointment a week later because she had a very bad flu and "the worst migraine ever". This lasted for about 10 days, but when she came for her next treatment, she looked a totally different person. Her eyes and skin were more shiny, and she had more energy. She continued having one treatment a week for next 4 weeks, and after that one treatment a month for 8 months. Her migraine and PMT symptoms were slowly ceasing, resulting in complete absence of migraine in the last 2 months.
